As mentioned previously, the club is looking at arranging a visit to the Grassroots Live Show at the NEC.
 
 
The cost of hiring a coach plus ticket fees makes it all very expensive. For a father & son to go, you're looking at £20 each for the coach and £16 + £12 = £28 for a pair of tickets.  So that's £68 before you start with food, drink and purchases etc.
 
 
The club is offering the following:
 
A subsidy for car travel to be made (£8 or £15* per car) per car.
£8 covers the parking fee.
The £15 subsidy to be paid to 200 club members only.
 
By going by car allows everyone flexibility in going on the day of their choice. If you want to go, but have no transport, contact your team manager.
 
The club has looked at discounted group tickets, but the following seems to be better option:
 
The following code GREX8222 gives one free child ticket to every who buys one adult ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
 
The proposed club idea brings the cost down to: £17.50 for a pair of tickets (£8x2 plus £1.50 booking fee) plus petrol , plus free parking (and plus subsidy for petrol if 200 club member £7).
 
To claim you subsidy, keep hold of your car parking ticket / or obtain a car parking receipt and send to the club secretary or your team manager.
