The first of today's double header against Hall Cross finally showed what the boys are capable of...when they get a bit of luck!  With everyone available, it was Bessacarr who kicked off and immediately they went on the attack.  It wasn't long before the breakthrough came with a good finish from Ross.  In fact, the first half became the Ross show, as he and Jay caused the Hall Cross defence all sorts of problems.  With Ant and Christian supporting from midfield, it wasn't long before Ross got a 2nd...and a 3rd, before Jay, not to be outdone, also got in on the act to make it 4.  Hall Cross, to be fair, kept their heads up and Lewis, Jack and Callum had to be alert on more than one occasion - in fact Callum made a couple of great saves to keep them out.  With Ross adding his 4th, the boys went into half time 5 up!  With Danny and Henry coming on at half time, the boys kept the momentum going, with Jay adding a 6th...and then a 7th, to complete his hat trick.  With the second half becoming the Jay show, it was time for Brandon to come on and also get in on the act, getting his 2nd of the season (and a cracking finish it was too), and Bessacarr's 8th.  Daniyal came on to keep the momentum going and Jay added his 4th to make it 9-0 just before time.  A very one sided game, thoroughly enjoyed by all the boys, parents (and manager) showed what the boys can do when they get the run of the ball - it was one of those days when everything went in.  A fantastic effort nevertheless from all 11 players used - well done!!  ...on to the 2nd game! (a re-arranged one from earlier in the season)
