BESSACARR FC – 200 CLUB

You may be aware that here at the Club, we have a fund raising scheme known as The 200 Club. This has been in existence since 2004 and currently has a membership of around 50, a long way from our desired number of 200.

The Club ensures that new team kits, training tops and equipment are provided for each age group on an ongoing basis. In addition, playing pitches and sports hall facilities all have to be paid for out of subscriptions and fund raising. We also ensure that all players are awarded a trophy at the end of the season in recognition of their efforts and organise many special events for individual age groups.

Only approximately 65% of the club’s annual turnover comes from the player subscriptions with the remainder having to be made up from donations, sponsorship and fund raising.

Membership is open to individuals and companies alike. We currently have 20 corporate members who look upon this as a form of sponsorship. If you or your company would be willing to join, please could I ask that you complete the standing order mandate and either send it to the Treasurer’s address or to your team manager.
