The next Players Committee meeting will take place on Friday 1st July at Cantley Park starting at 6pm. The meeting should last no longer then 1 hour. All teams from the under 11s upwards should have a player present. The idea of the meeting is to find out any issues/ideas that players at the club have in order for the club to improve and develop. We are particularly looking for ideas on how to improve the Bessacarr Tournament. We also have Matt Handley from the County FA attending, as he wants to ask our players a few questions on player development.

MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE PLAYERS COMMITTEE HELD ON 27TH SEPTEMBERAT THE PUNCH’S HOTEL AT 7.00PM 

Present: 

Under 11’s: 2 players, U12: 1 player, U13: 6 players, U16A: 1 player

Mick White (Chairman), Rob Carville (Child Welfare Officer), Martin McCarthy (Minutes). 

 

Welcome  
The Chairman welcomed representatives from teams from the Under 11’s upwards to the meeting. In particular he was keen to seek views on: 
•       Was there anything more the Club could do to support players?
•       How can we improve the involvement and enjoyment of those playing for Bessacarr FC?
•       Do you have any other suggestions that might help the Club in general?

The next Players Committee meeting will take place on Monday 27th September at Punch's Hotel starting at 7pm. The meeting should last no longer then 30 minutes. All teams from the under 11s upwards should have a player present. The idea of the meeting is to find out any issues/ideas that players at the club have in order for the club to improve and develop. The meeting on the 27th will be looking at ideas of how the club can celebrate its 30th birthday.
