Bessacarr FC are delighted to announce their success at becoming a FA Charter Standard Club at COMMUNITY Level. This is the highest possible award in the Charter Standard programme andĀ represents a tremendous achievement for the club since they are one of only 16 throughout the whole of the Sheffield & Hallamshire region to secure this prestigious accolade. Only 350 clubs have achieved Community Level in England. This success has come about through hard work and dedication by club members and in particular Secretary Nathan Batchelor who has committed a large amountĀ of his valuable time and energy to moving the club forward. Well done Nathan and a big thank you from all at Bessacarr FC.

The work is not finished and the club are looking to continue progress in a number of areas. One of these is the establishment of a girls team affiliated to the girls league during the forthcoming 2010/2011 season and the formation of an open age team to compete in the Alliance league. Chairman Mick White is sponsoring the latter project and is hopeful of announcing more on this in the near future.
